Zedplug will be decommissioned on November 30th

Greetings to each and every one of you. I am writing this letter to inform you that Zedplug will be decommissioned on November 30th.

With the goal of becoming the authoritative source of Zambian music, Zedplug began development in November 2019 and was released on February 18, 2020.

Since then, Zedplug has worked tirelessly to achieve its objective of being Zambia's leading music distributor.

Throughout Zedplug's history, we've had our fair share of good and horrible times, but we've always been committed to keeping Zedplug up and operating. Among other notable milestones, we've had the opportunity to interact with well-known performers.

Zedplug has reached the end of its life cycle. I've made my money, and I feel it's time for me to pull the plug on Zedplug.

(Please permit me to serve as your master of ceremonies at this moment.) This is how the dismantling will go down.

Recap from a few weeks ago: We halted our routines and refused to distribute any music.

November. 4th: We've finally resolved and revealed what's been brewing for weeks. Also, if you need to hoard any data, do so now or never.

On November 30th, we will disable public internet access to servers. We'll start destroying songs through out December by shredding data on each drive mounted on each server and killing it. Nothing but bootstrapping data will be left behind.

By Christmas, we'll be finished.
